Just Like Cindy!

Alright, since I did so awesome on Cindy's quiz I decided to post one for me, too. Mine is really easy because I'm a really boring person and I couldn't think of anything to put on it. But that's good for you guys because then you can get a better score and feel better about yourself and maybe put off that next toaster bath you have lined up. This is my good deed for the day. Saving one toaster at a time.

NFL Predictions

Alright, I don't know if anyone has done this yet, but I'm going to start my predictions for the outcome of the new NFL season. First off in the AFC North because that's the easiest of all the divisions: Pittsburgh Steelers will win the division and the Ravens will be the only other team from the division with a winning record but they won't make the playoffs. The Steelers will make it to the AFC Championship game but I don't know if they'll win. In the East the Patriots will win the division easily over the Jets but New York might make the wild card. The Patriots won't get to the AFCC game. The Colts will obviously win the South but Houston and Jacksonville will do well. Houston will make the playoffs but lose in the first round. Indiannapolis might make it to the AFCC game but I still think they'll lose their first game of the playoffs. Especially if it's against the Broncos who will win the West but allow the Chargers to come to the playoffs with them. San Diego will lose their first playoff game. Denver has a chance to make it to the AFCC game.

In the NFC North I'm going with Minnesota even though I really think the Lions could do some damage this year. In the NFC East I think every team will lose every game they play and the NFL will have to pay for each of the four cities that have an NFC East team to be extracted from the country and shipped to Japan where members from each of the cities will have to participate in Japanese traditional rice fishing. Every team in the NFC South will make it to the playoffs except for the Saints... and the Falcons. Seattle will win the West but St. Louis will make it to the playoffs too because they don't belong in a West division when they are further East than Dallas so the league will allow them to take the place of the exiled teams from the "East". Every team in the NFC will lose their first playoff game and be forced to spend the off season writing 'I should've stuck with NFL Europe' on the chalk board.

Santa Doesn't Go To Texas

Yeah, so I have a few minutes to kill before I take off for the Trapt concert and I realize I haven't put anything up on my blog for a while (possibly due to the dismal amount of visitors my site generates) so I decided I'd write something worthless about... my blog. The title and the heading are from a Mae song ("Awakening") about a guy being somewhere lonely where he doesn't want to be (...the paradox place) and wishing he could fly back to where he came from.

The white writing beneath the heading (...go on forever...) is actually from a Blink 182 song ("Lost Without You") about some one being afraid to leave something/someone. So, I guess those two aspects of my blog are pretty discouraging. Which is a bad thing. But they're both really good songs. My profile picture obviously isn't me. It's the lead singer of Relient K ("Matt Theisen") and apparently he's (not) writing something on the chalk board. I never had to write lines on the chalk board when I was in grade school but I wish I had. That has to be the best punishment. Especially if you get to write stuff like what Bart Simpson wrote. In second grade the lunchroom ladies made me write something a hundred times on a piece of paper so I wouldn't forget it... but I forgot what it was.

How's school going for everyone? I hope you're all having a good time whatever you're doing. I'll give a big Ooo-rah out to Josh in the Air Force but I don't know if he gets the internet where he is. Texas? Does Texas have the intranet yet? Santa doesn't go to Texas for some reason. Did you guys know that? Yeah, well, it's pretty much a proven fact.
